Friend of Unfair Park Kyle Rains was kind enough to send us this photo he took of the great Burton Gilliam last night at the Woodrow Wilson High School Senior Dinner, which was held at the Lakewood Theater. The co-star of, among others, Blazing Saddles, Back to the Future III, Paper Moon and Fletch — and a Woodrow grad, class of ’56 — delivered the keynote speech, during which he asked Mr. Taggart if he’d like some more beans.
On a related note, why, no, I haven’t forgotten about my solemn vow to write a cover story about Burton. Not at all.
