Final Club’s 2011 LP, Blank Entertainment did that neat trick of forging an old sound into a new sound, which there’s nothing wrong with, as long as it advances your art somehow. The Denton quartet recently got back from tour, so they’ve no doubt been able to work out that rock & roll muscle.
With that in mind, their Violitionist session debuts two new songs that don’t stray too far from Blank‘s foundation of swivel-neck tempo changes and minor-key melody, and sound best turned all the way up.
