Speaking of Erykah Badu: Some big news out of the Queen of Neo-Soul’s camp today, as it’s been announced that, on Friday, December 17, starting at 9 p.m.at the PM Lounge in downtown Dallas’ The Joule hotel, the Dallas icon will make her DJ debut, performing under the name DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown.
Even better: The Toys for Tots benefit event, hosted by one of the best DJs in town, Cannabinoid member DJ A-One, if free to attend for patrons bringing an unwrapped toy with them to the door.
We recommend following through on this bit of advice from the event’s Facebook page: “THIS EVENT WILL HIT CAPACITY VERY EARLY!! ARRIVE VERY EARLY IF YOU PLAN ON GETTING IN.” Sounds about right.
