Courtesy GreenLiving this morning, we discover that all three men are attending the 2010 Windpower Conference and Exhibition, which’ll be held at the Dallas Convention Center May 23 through May 26. No, seriously. Costello’s up first, with a $125-to-$225-per-ticket May 24 Wind Foundation fund-raiser at the House of Blues — four nights before he kicks off a two-day stint with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. At last, Dallas gets its own Elvis Costello Week.
Then, the next morning, it’s straight into Bush’s part of the program: According to GreenLiving, the former president is collecting ’round $100,000 to speak during the event’s general session, a hometown discount of $50,000.
