It’s still more than five months, but plans are already in motion for the weekend of February 12 through February 14–or, as we’ve already called it, the most important weekend in Dallas hip-hop history–when the 2010 NBA All-Star game rolls through town.
So far, at least one hip-hop party plan is in place: On Friday, February 12, DJ Dre and friends of his from the DJ Drop-led Definition DJs crew will host a party at Union Station–no doubt a sign that the crew that brought the Boogie to the forefront of the Dallas scene is hoping to make some big plays during the annual event, which often doubles as a magnet for the music industries biggest hip-hop moguls.
