Speaking of MTV, the strictly music (and definitely not reality TV-based) cable network chimes in today with a recap of last night’s Silver Jews concert—purportedly Dallas native David Berman’s final show.
Makes sense, as we’ve all seen how much love MTV has given artists like the Silver Jews prior to their final shows.
The show was held 300 feet underground in a cavern below the Tennessee town of McMinnville.
And, apparently, it was a well-attended show, although, the review notes, there was no sign of one-time Jew, Stephen Malkmus, who, along with his fervor, decided not to partake in the goodbye affair.
