AllGood Cafe’s Mike Snider checks in this week with a pretty imperssive upcoming get at Sons of Hermann Hall–at least for alt-country devotees.
On Friday, April 19 17, at Sons, Gary Louris and Mark Olson, both of the seminal alt-country act The Jayhawks, will perform together again for what should be a fairly decent draw. Why just fairly decent? Well, the duos‘s been playing around together pretty regularly since their original band’s demise. In fact, they just released a new collaborative record called Ready For The Flood in January.
Should be an interesting night, though. Advance tickets are $18, and available through Front Gate.
