I know we just posted Sam Coats’ anti-Trinity River toll road spot, but we just found another one of the mayoral candidate’s ads, and it kinda tickles us — intentionally, we suppose. The guy’s just so aw-shucksy, so down-homey, so old…sorry, meant to say old-fashioned. We just have one question: Did Coats’ people lift that music from a Whataburger ad or a Motel 6 spot?
