To be honest, I’d kinda forgotten all about Dallas County District Attorney candidate Danny Clancy’s boosted wheels — that was only Thursday? Guess I’m the only one. Not sure we’ll make it to down to Dallas County Democratic Party HQ this morning, where chair Darlene Ewing’s scheduled to address members of the media at 11 about last week’s theft and Clancy’s not-so-subtle suggestion that Craig Watkins’s “camp” may have had something to do with it. Besides, this morning the county Democratic Party sends a sneak peek at Ewing’s remarks courtesy this quote:
“This is nothing more than political theater to help a faltering campaign. Clancy is unable to challenge District Attorney Watkins on
his record, and therefore has directly implied that District Attorney
Watkins is somehow involved in a crime. It needs to stop.”
