Got an e-mail last week from Jeff Davidson, who wanted us to to let you know he and the missus, Ally, would be on teevee tonight: American Gladiators. “Our show is going to be the best one of the season so far,” notes the 29-year-old financial adviser, and, sure, I believe. Though, funny note from his NBC bio: “Unknown to Jeff, his wife tried out for American Gladiators on her wedding day in her wedding veil.” Ally’s bio expands upon the theme, “[It was] a move that her more conservative husband probably wouldn’t have approved of had he known.” Been there, pal. –Robert Wilonsky
