Kenny Goss and George Michael got Style!

All the Dallas news that’s fit to print in The New York Times: Missouri Tigers QB Chase Daniel spoke Saturday about growing up a Southlake Carroll High School Dragon: “There can’t be a more supportive and nurturing high school environment in America.” Then he and his top ranking got drilled by No.9 Oklahoma later that evening.

Dallas-based Greyhound is now trying to sell it three-year, $60 million rehab, down to the bus drivers’ unis. Says its local marketing director in today’s Times: The bus line is trying to get people “to take another look at Greyhound.” OK, sure — we’ll bite. On the smaller local-biz front, CleanAirGardening.com gets a shout-out for posting to the YouTubes demonstration videos for its environmentally friendly gardening supplies — like this Recycled Plastic Worm Composting Factory, which I am totally getting you for Christmas.

And, on the more stylish front, in yesterday’s New York Times Style Magazine, Kenny Goss and George Michael’s foundation was feted for bringing the Y.B.A. set to Dallas. From the piece comes news of a Goss-Michael Foundation artist-in-residence program, with two 5,000 scholarships: “one in Michael’s name (for music) and one in Goss’s name (for art).” –Robert Wilonsky
