It was a long weekend for all of us, I guess, this past Labor Day weekend. But it was an especially long one, it appears, for our tandem nightlife photographers, Ray and Peter Lek, who spent four nights out documenting the scenes of Dallas after dark from Thursday through Sunday, hitting up a variety of locales along the way–a number of which you’ll see in this week’s photo set.
Thursday saw the brothers hanging out at Shade, capturing the techno sounds of London-based DJ Paolo Mojo on film. On Friday, the brothers stopped by Fallout Lounge for Black Friday with DJ’s Keith P, Redsean, Tiny and Young Adult Friction, who seems to be a big Pains of Being Pure at Heart fan, if the name is any indicator. Saturday brought the Leks to the Lizard Lounge for DJ Le Castle Vania. And Sunday saw the brothers try somethig without a dance hook–or, not their usual one, at least–as the Lek’s stopped in at the Lone Star Country Club in Coppell for a good ol’ fashioned hootenanny.
It’s all in this week’s picture set, ripe for your viewing pleasure right here.
