Neon Indian’s Psychic Chasms isn’t the only record anticipated from the Alan Palomo camp. July 1 came and went without the promised release of the now-still-forthcoming VEGA EP, Well Known Pleasures.
But it’s not without good reason: Palomo let us know that, while he isn’t ready to publicly divulge the details, he was contacted about a week before the scheduled release with an offer to put out the EP on a prominent hip-hop/dance label. Here’s hoping it works out, as it would be a perfect fit for both parties.
“…we’re finalizing the deal,” writes Palomo in an e-mail, “but just let your readers know we have some big news in the coming days that will be absolutely worth waiting around for regarding a label signing and some great remixes.”
