Found this this morning: a trip up N. Central Expressway scored to the strains of Menkena, which counts among its members our former colleague Mike Simmons. Debuted during the band’s performance at La Grange over the weekend. Too bad you can’t roll down the windows. Also: When they get off at Belt Line Road-Main Street, I thought maybe they were headed to Maxim’s. Mmmm, dumplings.
