The Texas Freedom Network‘s expecting a packed house tonight, when Jim Wallis pops in to the Wilshire Baptist Church on Abrams Road as part of the TFN’s Faith and Freedom Speaker Series. Wallis — president and executive director of Sojourners, author of the bestselling God’s Politics: Why the Right Gets It Wrong and the Left Doesn’t Get It and frequent TV talking head — will go on at 7 p.m.
In an e-mail this morning, TFN says it has already pre-registered nearly 1,000 folks, which is capacity — and impressive to boot, never mind its being free and open to anyone. But you can check here to see if there’s still room. –Robert Wilonsky
