Whatever you do, do not Google image search “meth.”
Sounds like a cross between The Wire and that scene in Encounters of the Third Kind in which the government doctors its UFO-peeping vehicles to look like grocery store and fast-food delivery trucks. Because yesterday in Arkansas, the feds busted up an enormous meth operation that involved 65 people who moved the drug from Mexico throughout the U.S. — including a “regional hub” in Dallas. And this was no lo-tech operation: It involved so-called refaced “clone trucks” (just like Encounters!), “vehicles disguised as satellite TV trucks, and complex, electronically triggered hiding spots inside cars.” Which seems like a lot of work for 100 pounds and $11 million worth of meth. –Robert Wilonsky
