Two acts that shroud themselves in darkness and make their music seem much heavier than it actually is join forces at The Loft tonight as Serena-Maneesh and Wovenhand roll through town for a gig. Theirs is heavy music for people who don’t like heavy music–or maybe pop music for people who do like heavy music. Either way, these are effective ploys of juxtaposition at play in both the Oslo-based Serena-Maneesh’s and the Denver-based Wovenhand’s music.

So tonight’s show at The Loft should be a good one. And thanks to the folks over at that venue, we’ve got fie pairs of tickets to hand out to tonight’s show. Want one of the pairs? Jump to find out how to win.

Just be among the first five people to email me, starting right now, with the words “Serena’s Hand” in the subject line, and you’re in. Good luck!

Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winners!
