Arts Magnet grad, and Project Runway, contestant Elisa Jimenez

Really, all we’re doing the rest of today is killing time till the 9 p.m. premiere of the fourth season of Project Runway on Bravo — which, as we told you way, way back when, features a Dallasite. Course, the official site refers to him as 39-year-old Marion Lee, but you know him as Urban Flower/Grange Hall‘s Jeffrey Lee.

Technically, there are two local contestants: The other’s Elisa Jimenez, whose clothes are … uh … interesting? Notes her Bravo bio, the 42-year-old El Paso native graduated from the Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and got her fine arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She’s a big-deal designer, having designed for the likes of Courtney Love and Cher and having shown at Olympus Fashion Week in 2005. In fact, eight years ago she was featured in Texas Monthly: “Don’t look for her creations at your local mall, however: Jimenez prefers sewing directly onto your body.” Ow-wa. –Robert Wilonsky
