Back at the beginning of the month we passed along this fairly exciting, if also a little bizarre, news: Neon Indian helped create a synthesizer called the PAL 198X, and, if you buy the deluxe version of their new album, Era Extraña, you’ll get it as part of the package.
But what of said synthesizer? The initial announcement only shared so much information. Need more?
Today, Neon Indian mastermind Alan Palomo checks in with some more details on the matter. Kind of. Basically, he released a faux informercial — or, as he’s calling it, a “synthfomercial” — further promoting the small device. The whole clip’s presented in warped VHS form, as you’d expect. Give it a watch after the jump.
