One show that I’ve personally had circled on my calendar for some time now is tonight’s gig at the Loft with Ida Maria (see above) and Glasvegas. Why? Well, partially because Ida Maria’s Fortress ’round My Heart is one of the best releases of ’09 so far, but also because the last time I tried to see Glasvegas, at this past SXSW, it was just too damn packed in the club they were playing to bother, dammit.
So, yeah, I’m pretty stoked to be getting the chance to check out tonight’s show with both the Scottish alt-rockers and the burden-bearing Norwegian pop punker. But I’m also pretty stoked that our friends over at The Loft are hooking up DC9 readers with four pairs of free tickets to tonight’s show, as well.
