Those guys in Sundress are pretty talented dudes, ain’t they? They really are — and not just on the music front.
Guitarist Kennon Talley, who also plays in Western Giants, is the man behind the above image that promotes his band’s show on the all-Denton bill of Sam Robertson, The Hannah Barbarians, The Hope Trust and The Lindales at Hailey’s Club in Denton on Sunday night. Hey, if the music thing doesn’t pan out…
It’s just an eye-catching design, what with its pretty, pastel colors, slight white-space background starburst and, um, revolvers? Sure. Why not? Sure gives the otherwise softy design a little added edge, no? Maybe a little irony, too.
Either way, nice stuff. And, hey, maybe if more revolvers came in pastel colors, there’d be fewer gun-related deaths. Or, conversely, maybe more because then kids would be even more attracted to them…
