The Bloody Monday Blues Band at City Tavern
Featuring the talents
Hash Brown, one of Dallas’ legendary guitarists, The Bloody Monday Blues
Band is becoming a fixture on the area blues scene. Hash and his band
perform every Monday at 9 o’clock for those folks whose weeks have started
off badly and feel the need to take some solace in some authentic blues.
Depending on the outcome of the game, fans of the Steelers or the
Packers can revisit City Tavern next Monday as well.
Chant at Main Street Live
Chant
is a local trio that comes at the blues from a decidedly funky and jazzy
angle. Named after guitarist Chant Duplantier, a transplanted Cajun,
Chant plays a nice selection of originals and covers that should go over
well with anyone who’s already in town for the big game — y’know, the
one that the Cowboys were supposed to be playing in.
