$10,000

Uh-huh. True story: Dallas pop act The Bright‘s song “Cemetery Street” aired approximately 17 minutes into last week’s episode of MTV’s faux-reality show The Hills, or so the glorious press release that just popped up in my inbox promises.

The placement puts the uber-radio-friendly locals in the esteemed company of fellow DFW native sons Forever the Sickest Kids, who, you may recall, earned similar placement back in April.

So just how awesome is this? Hmmm… As awesome as Lauren hooking up/not hooking up with JustinBobby? Oh, don’t make me choose!
