KXAS-Channel 5 Posts Video of Mike Snyder’s “Farewell,” Only to Leave Out the Best Part

Perhaps you heard Mike Snyder and Jane McGarry’s tearful parting of ways this morning on Dunham and Miller, where the closing segment of Monday’s 10 p.m. KXAS-Channel 5 newscast seemingly played on a loop. The station’s story concerning Snyder’s new deal with the NBC affiliate — as mentioned in May, he will continue anchoring the 5 and 6 p.m. weekday newscasts, but no longer JaM on it with his longtime co-anchor — and the accompanying adios-ish just went online. The video’s now after the jump, but KXAS left out the best part — you know, where Jane and Mike exchange sniffling I-love-yous. I’ve sent an angry letter to station management on your behalf.
