Not much chance you’d run into an ET camera crew, an Entourage cast member or Cee Lo at Samuel Lynne Galleries last night. But, then you also wouldn’t walk out of the place smelling like Axe.
The gallery hosted its $600-a-head Super Bowl Eve “Super Soiree” in the otherwise empty Design District, with Clint Black headlining the night for an intimate crowd of a couple hundred well-dressed folks who were considerably more polite than the crowd at Billy Bob’s the last time I saw him live. Less shouting. Less dancing too. But with the high-sculpted oil paintings hanging on the walls, that’s probably for the best.
Jump for more shots of the party that, for one night at least, out-swankytonked La Grange.
