Low Budget Brawl: AirTran Takes a Shot at Southwest. But Southwest Started It!

A Friend of Unfair Park directs our attention to this Adweek blog item from today about a pissing contest involving Love Field-based Southwest Airlines and AirTran Airways — though, from the looks of the Google Machine, this first became a thing at the end of last week. In short, Southwest aired a “Bags Fly Free” shot on teevee that poked fun at a barely veiled AirTran plane, which prompted AirTran to post an online eff-you-too having to do with how Southwest treats its passengers like, well, cattle.
