I’ve spent the better part of the last hour trying to figure out what in the wide, wide world of sports this means. Alas, there’s not a Fair Park or Park and Rec higher-up available to talk — never have so many taken so many meetings at the exact same time.
But I did find out this much: The Fair Park Twitter account is maintained by the Friends of Fair Park. And I did speak to someone there, who said only this much and no more: “It refers to a board that may move their event to Fair Park. It’s a major Dallas event.” And that was that. I am told there should be a tweet tomorrow accompanied by a press release.
Till then, I’m all for wild speculation. This, maybe? Unless, like, you know.
