Here is the situation with Breakaway Music Festival, which will happen this Saturday at FC Dallas stadium: The lineup is excellent. It includes the surprisingly resilient Empire of the Sun, our Young Money hometown representative in Lil Twist and the highly majestic Explosions in the Sky, who you maybe remember from Friday Night Lights. There are more. I encourage you to check the full lineup on the festival’s website. And maybe you’re in it for Matt & Kim or Juicy J. But let’s be honest. It’s all about Wu-Tang Clan, which we are assured will be an eight-man operation.
Tickets start out at $49. But we’re giving away four VIP passes ($125 each), which gets you a private lounge and access to various things (rides, apparently?) as well as a goody bag and more. In short, you will be staying much more trippy than those poor plebes in GA.
Here’s how it’s going to work: We’re going to be posting Wu-Tang trivia questions on our Facebook and Twitter pages throughout the day today. Go to them, keep your eye out for questions, and submit your answers. Each correct answer will be entered into a drawing, which we’ll do at the end of the day today.
