In this past week’s paper, Jesse Hughey gave local Minutemen-adoring trio Deep Snapper‘s latest, Pi on the Side, an educated listen and found it to be a melange of “shouted vocals about politics and other nonsense, earworm melodies and
breakneck drum-bashing with prominent bass and a heaping helping of
distortion and feedback.”
Which, in this case, is a good thing, maybe? Sure is, writes Hughey:
