It’s no secret that we’re big Annie Clark (aka St. Vincent) fans around these parts. So we’re pretty much giddy about the two new mp3s from the former Dallasite that are making the rounds on the blogosphere today–ones you should definitely check out and download ASAP.

The first finds Clark pairing up with another crew of DC9 favorites, The National, to cover former Sarah Jaffe tourmate Crooked Fingers‘ track, “All Summer Long”. The pairing of National frontman Matt Berninger’s baritone with Clark’s softer croon turns the track into an oh-so-sweet duet, perfect for the turning season. Download that right here.

The other song surfacing today is the second to leak from St. Vincent’s highly anticipated upcoming sophomore release, Actor, the near-title track, “Actor Out Of Work”, a song that more closely mirrors the first big single of St. Vincent’s career, “Paris Is Burning”, thanks to a more driving beat and a near-electro goth sound. Download that here.

The album’s release date, May 5, can’t come soon enough, can it?
