Between the hours of 6 p.m. Friday, June 17, and 8:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18, two goats were shot and killed on the property of Magnolia Silos, the Magnolia Market in Waco featured on Fixer Upper, an HGTV show starring Chip and Joanna Gaines.

Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton says investigators aren’t sure if it is one suspect or multiple suspects. The goats were shot multiple times and the police were notified Saturday morning about the shooting.

Fixer Upper is a show about two Jesus-loving Baylor grads who redesign Waco homes one by one. Joanna, the wife, is the brains behind the design, while Chip, who grew up in North Texas, is behind all the construction. Think Lucy and Ricky, but Chip is Lucy and Joanna is Ricky. They have four kids together and Chip plays the goofball role, throwing rocks at glass doors to start construction, while Joanna is more steady and serious, always ready to execute the plan.

The Magnolia Market, located in the silos, draws 25,000 visitors per week. It’s a store that can bring any woman’s Pinterest dream to life, but the Gaines have capitalized on their TV show by pretty much dominating every line of business. There’s a bed and breakfast, furniture line, book, and of course Magnolia Market.
