- It looks like biopics with hip-hop icons are now officially in fashion in Hollywood. N.W.A. is the latest hip-hop group to have a biopic based on its story. And it looks like Big Daddy Kane could be next.
- Former Richardson citizen and famed lip-syncer Ashlee Simpson has been added to the cast of CW’s Melrose Place reboot.
- Police harshed many a buzz this past weekend at the Phish reunion shows, seizing $1.2 million dollars worth of drugs and $68,000 in cash. In all, 194 people were arrested.
- Kings of Leon, Depeche Mode, Beastie Boys and yes, Jane’s Addiction are reported to be headlining this year’s Lollapalooza. What, you didn’t think Perry Ferrell would get the band back together and not play, did you?
