$10,000

Back in January, the Toadies announced that, for the fourth year in a row now, they will be hosting another Dia de Los Toadies affair this summer on August 26 and 27.

Then, in February, the band announced the location: This year’s event will be taking place this year  at Whitewater Amphitheater in New Braunfels.

So maybe it makes sense then that, on the first day of March, the band’s let loose some more information — if only to keep up with the pattern. And boy did they: Today, the band announced the first two acts set to join them at this year’s festival — and they’re no slouches. Quite the opposite, actually.

Expect many adds in the coming weeks and months, but for now, salivate over the fact that Austin’s Ume (who will be joining the Toadies at our own event this month) and The Sword are the first two bands that have been announced to join the bill. Loudest Dia de Los Toadies yet? Quite possibly.

No word yet on tickets, though. But we imagine that will change shortly.
