The cautionary tale of the girl next door brings to mind a seemingly mild-mannered girl, right? It’s seldom the case — she always has some sort of a wild streak. The same could be said about Next Door’s Scorched Peach, a playful cocktail made sweet with cinnamon syrup and nutmeg, but not enough to keep the peach vodka from showing you a good time. (Sound familiar?)

Scorched Peach
1.5 oz of New Amsterdam Peach Vodka
0.5 oz cinnamon syrup
0.5 fresh lemon juice
splash of club soda
Brûléed peach wedge
Dash of nutmeg
Luxardo cherry syrup
Combine the first four ingredients in a shaker with ice, then shake until well chilled. Pour over fresh ice, top with club soda, then garnish with peach wedge, dash of nutmeg, and a Luxardo cherry drizzle.
