Admittedly, I’ve been a Gun Gun fan since the first time I caught the duo live.

Guess I’m a sucker for the punky, poppy delivery of Lisa Hardaway’s candy-coated “ooh-ooh-oohs” and “ah-ah-ahs” mixed with the catchy, often N.W.A.-style, lyrical content. (Example: “Fuck you stupid bitches / I’ll put you all in stitches”).
Last night, Hardaway and Ashley Cromeens (who also performs in Record Hop) didn’t bring their keyboards along, instead opting to play as a straight drum-guitar duo. And, while the show was great–filled with hard riffs and hard beats–I did miss the hard keys…
