Have you seen the above billboard around town? I haven’t, but apparently it exists, and for the sole purpose of telling AT&T mobile customers how they can get into tomorrow night’s Gym Class Heroes show at the Granada Theater for free.
Essentially, if you’re an AT&T customer, you just shoot a text, as the billboard instructs. And, boom, just like that, your name will be on the list. Or whoever it is that pays your bill will have their name on the list. I’m not sure.
Regardless, it turns out there’s an even easier way to get into the show tomorrow.
The folks over at the Granada Theater tell us that anyone who stops by their theater box office tomorrow between noon and 4 p.m. and asks for a free ticket will be handed one.

Easy enough.
So, y’know, do it, I guess. Then you can, at no cost, go hear songs on Saturday night like this one, which I first heard back at a house show in Syracuse in, like, ’03, when the Central New York-sprung band played it and everyone around me immediately thought they were gonna be the Next Big Thing and, in some ways, turned out to be right:
Oh, college.
