Florida folk-punk act Fake Problems has canceled its Thursday, July 30, performance at Rubber Gloves.
The fiery, upbeat quintet had already been playing short-handed for a few days; guitarist Casey Lee’s taken leave of the band to be with his family after his father died suddenly last week when he fell from a ladder while pruning some trees around their Florida home.
The band hopes to reschedule the rest of its tour for September, and hopes to announce the new dates soon. In the meantime, the band says it will use the time to work on songs for a follow-up to this years terrific February release, It’s Great to Be Alive.
