Trey Johnson released this morning a new music video for his song “Bombs,” the lead single off his new album, Where The East Ends, his second release in the wake of Sorta‘s breakup. The video, directed by Michael Carter, is the first of Johnson’s solo career and, like the tone of the song (and, really, his whole catalog), focuses on the singer-songwriter’s generally sardonic world view and sense of humor.
There’s not much of a storyline speak of here, no. But, hey, if you like your vague tales of young women who may or may not be involved in terrorist activity to be coupled with dramatic shots of a local favorite emotionally plying his craft, then, well, this one’s for you, champ.
