Austin’s garage-y White Denim clearly like to have a good time, if the above video for its breakout 2008 hit, “Shake Shake Shake” is any indication.

And it’s tough to deny that, upon listen to the band, that there’s a serious sense of urgency and vitality in everything it does, even if what it does is, generally, backwards-looking stuff. As the band stops through town tonight for a gig at The Loft to kick off a short tour of the great southwest, Dallasites will be able to see that much first-hand–and with some fun support, too, courtesy of Elephant Six members Elf Power and Dallas’ own PVC Street Gang.

Thanks to the folks at The Loft, we’ve got five free pairs of tickets to hand out to tonight’s impressive bill. Wanna win the tickets? Find out how after the jump.

To win the tickets, just be among the first five people to email me, starting right now, with the words “White After Labor Day” in the subject line. Good luck!

Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winners!
