Tonight, at 1111 Studio (1111 Dragon Street), Hoyotoho will release its debut album, Brutal Beauty, an album we hipped you to a few weeks back now. Anyway, as the above clip shows, the event’s being promoted as a “videopera,” whatever that is. Looks pretty interesting, though. It all starts at 8 tonight, and it’ll cost $5 to get it–although a $10 cover will also get you a “limited artpack” to go with the new album.
But you might not have to pay at all. The band’s offered DC9 readers a free pair of tickets to the show–and is including with it a copy of the new disc, as well as access to the event’s open bar (niiiiiiiiiice). Want the passes? Be the first to email me right now with the words “Virgin Eyes” in the subject line and you’re in. Good luck!
Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winner!
