On Sunday afternoon, Third String Productions‘ run of hosting mall punk shows at the 5,000 capacity Plano Centre will come to an end as the largely suburban-based production company tosses its annual Summerfest show, this one featuring the likes of Forever The Sickest Kids (whose Underdog Alma Mater received the deluxe re-release treatment earlier this week), Ryan Cabrera (no, like, for real), Red Car Wire, The Hit and They Were Stars.

So why move out of the Plano Centre? Well, ’cause soon enough, the company will be moving its shows to the 8,000-capacity Garland Special Events Center.

But you already knew that. And, assuming you’re beig honest with yourself, you’re probably a little curious as to exactly what these suburban rock shows are like.

Well, here’s your chance to find out: Courtesy Third String Productions, we’ve got two pairs of tickets to give out to Sunday’s show. Want ’em? Drop me an email with “Just like Michael Jackson did!” in the subject line. First two people to do so each get a pair of tickets. Good luck!
