On Friday afternoon, the folks at KDGE-102.1 FM The Edge announced the bill to the 21st edition of their recurring Edgefest concert series. And, after years of disappointing bill after semi-disappointing bill, this one, finally, packs an actual punch.
At Pizza Hut Park in Frisco on Saturday, April 30 (yes, the very same day as the Arcade Fire show at Starplex) the biggest rock station in town will play host to performances from Jane’s Addiction, Weezer, Social Distortion, Flogging Molly, Seether, Neon Trees, A Day To Remember, The Airborne Toxic Event, Dirty Heads, Middle Class Rut, Electric Touch, New Politics, AWOLNATION and, according to the station’s website, some others who will be added shortly.
Sure, there are some spares there toward the bottom. But those headliners are pretty awesome, no?
