Sometimes you just need a win. As Luka Doncic remains out for the foreseeable future and the NFL playoffs continue with a Cowboys-sized hole, Dallas could use something to take pride in.
Fear not, scorned Dallasite, for DFW-based Nothing Bundt Cakes has been named America’s favorite restaurant chain according to Technomic’s annual survey.
Technomic is a Chicago-based interactive data company that was founded in 1966, publishing a number of consumer trend reports each year that help businesses strategize. Respondents can earn points and gift cards for taking the surveys. We don’t know exactly who voted Nothing Bundt Cakes in for victory, but we hope their votes accounted for at least a couple of dollars towards lunch somewhere.
Two other North Texas-based restaurant chains are on the list: Fogo de Chao and Smoothie King.

Though founded in Las Vegas in 1997, the company’s headquarters are now located in Addison, with four locations remaining in Dallas proper.
