Naturally, the East Dallas bar Saint Valentine is for lovers. They’re even willing to make a bet on it.
The bet? If Travis Kelce proposes to Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl on Sunday, drinks are on the house. Let’s hope you’re not an Eagles fan.
The watering hole shared in an Instagram post: “Will Travis propose and make it a love story? All drinks from kick-off to 0:00 are on the house, if so!”
Saint Valentine is owned by two veteran mixologists, Gabe Sanchez and Ryan Payne, who also have a sister bar the Black Swan Saloon. Every year, both are a shoo-in for our list of Top 100 Bars in Dallas thanks to the easy-going vibes and well-crafted cocktails. What do you mean you’ve never heard about Saint Valentine’s dollar wings on Wednesdays?
The regular food and beverage menus will be available during the game, like game-day-worthy options like a Philly melt (ironically) as well as the black garlic burger, furikake fries and bacon-wrapped hot dogs, all of which are $15 and under. If you stick around after midnight, they’ll sling sloppy joes for $5. There will also be a wing and nacho bar, while supplies last. Na-Cho-Bar!
And of course, there are libations. We love the boilermaker combos here, called Churched Up Beers on the menu, with options like a High Life Pony and a shot of whisky for $10. Or you can grab their award-winning margarita, La Niña, for $15, plus other signature and classic cocktails made to order.
Doors open at 4 p.m., and you can call (214)-484-8140 to reserve one of their limited tables.
And in case you’ve been living under a rock, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend (Travis Kelce) is the Kansas City Chief’s tight end who is playing for the team’s third Super Bowl win in a row. This could be the first time in NFL history that a team has won back-to-back-to-back Super Bowls.
The Swift-Kelce relationship took the internet by storm when it debuted in the fall of 2023. The entire fandom believes the two are endgame (meaning they’re going to get married).
It’s a love story. Will she say yes?
