Ticket sales for the Dallas Wings’ 2025 season are flying high.
Ticket sales for the 2025 WNBA season as a whole are up more than twice last year’s numbers, according to ticketing giant StubHub. For the Dallas Wings specifically, ticket sales have risen a staggering 343% since last season. Consequently, StubHub says “Dallas Wings” rose 351% in searches on its website.
Of course, excitement for the Wings’ upcoming season has been palpable since the team selected Paige Bueckers with the No. 1 WNBA draft pick last month. Bueckers, who has earned the nickname “Buckets,” was a star player for the University of Connecticut and is fresh off clinching the 2025 NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship.
Bueckers will be joined by Wings guard and four-time WNBA All-Star Arike Ogunbowale. The two standouts are already showing signs of magic on the court with a viral overhand assist from their handy defeat of Japan’s Toyota Antelopes over the weekend.

The jump in sales also follows a record year for WNBA viewership. The league reported that the 2024 season was its most attended and streamed in more than two decades. Additionally, last year saw viewership climb to an average of 1.2 million across ESPN’s platforms, making it the WNBA’s most-watched regular season in the sports media organization’s history.
Last year also witnessed women’s sports as a whole hit more than a billion dollars in revenue for the first time, a figure that is expected to more than double in 2025.
The Dallas Wings will play their season opener on Friday, May 16, against the Minnesota Lynx at College Park Center in Arlington. Season tickets are sold out, but single-game tickets are available.
