Before we’re stuffing our faces with a Thanksgiving plate, come out and enjoy the 2025 Deep Ellum Block Party.
The all-day, all-night celebration is completely free, taking over the entire Deep Ellum Cultural District on Saturday, Nov. 22. Everyone in the neighborhood gets involved, showcasing live music at our favorite places like Trees, Club Dada, Three Links, Double Wide, Deep Ellum Art Co., Twilite Lounge, Ruins, Armoury D.E., The Free Man, AllGood Cafe, Adair’s, Elm Street Saloon, TX Tea Room, Puzzles, RBC, Will Call Bar, Sons of Hermann Hall and Reno’s as well as Dusty’s, DOT’s, St. Pete’s Dancing Marlin and more.
The lineup has a little bit of everything for everyone. It includes some artists that we’ve covered at the Observer, such as Joshua Ray Walker, Branoofunck, Cure for Paranoia, Rosegarden Funeral Party, Tye Harris, Nojo Wallace, Scuttino, Justin Pickard, Gracen Wynn, Alex Irish, Rakim Al-Jabbaar, Helium Queens, Remy Reilly, The Blue Line and more. We’ve gone ahead and hyperlinked some stories over their names if you’re unfamiliar with any of them. Check them out.

We also doubled back at the name A.Dd+, who are reuniting at the Deep Ellum Block Party. The duo of Paris Pershun and Slim Gravy was one of the most celebrated acts in Dallas, regularly headlining local showcases and winning multiple Dallas Observer Music Awards. After a public breakup that happened almost a decade ago, it seems like they’re letting bygones be bygones and performing for their fans.
The press release gave a breakdown of what to expect on that day. Here’s a loose itinerary you could follow:
12 p.m.: The celebration begins at noon with a district-wide Scavenger Hunt, the Deep Ellum Outdoor Market, mural painting by Dan Colcer on Deep Ellum Blues Alley, the Behind the Music exhibition on historic music venues at the Deep Ellum Community Center and a Fish Fry fundraiser at Three Links with SOCK (Saving Our Community with Kindness).
3 p.m.: Catch a special daytime set as Branoofunck throws a high-energy day party at Club Dada. Don’t miss the Beer Garden with a wrestling ring and some incredible musical surprises in the Trees parking lot. Attendees can also whet their appetites for the night ahead with a colorful tour of Deep Ellum by local musician and Dallas Entertainment Awards founder, Dezi 5.
4 p.m.: A very special Wine Walk will kick off with a celebration of Kettle Art Gallery’s 20th anniversary. The anniversary exhibit will feature the ”Instigators” and an all-star cast of artists who have shown over the years at the gallery. 4 more local art galleries up and down Main Street will be open and featuring new works for visitors to peruse all while enjoying live music by Madison King and Big Techs on the Main Street plaza outside Merit Coffee.
6 p.m.: Venues throughout Deep Ellum will offer non-stop free live music all night long, with the help of an unmatched array of local legends and emerging talent, reflecting the neighborhood’s vast and eclectic musical heritage.
We’re excited about this event. You can read some of our past coverage from last year and check out some scenes from the Deep Ellum Block Party below.
