Goose is a Connecticut five-piece that could very well be your favorite jam band.

The band, consisting of Rick Mitarotonda (vocals, guitar), Peter Anspach (vocals, keys, guitar), Trevor Weekz (bass) and Cotter Ellis (vocals, drums), have drawn comparisons of being the new Grateful Dead or the new Phish. Their music is a deft union of indie-rock hooks, sprawling improvisation and driving rhythm, selling out some of the biggest stages of the country

Goose, not to be confused with Geese, an indie-rock band from Brooklyn, is a band you gotta see for yourself, delivering re-imagined live staples of their songs and a perfect live peak when you need it. They’re coming off the release of their fifth studio album, Chain Yer Dragon, in August, arriving just four months after Everything Must Go

They’ll be coming to Texas in 2026 for a set of headlining dates in the Spring. On April 23, they’ll head to the Ayou Music Center in Houston. Then after, they’ll make a special return to Austin at the Moody Center on April 24 after their triumphant sold-out 2024 New Year’s Eve shows there. Finally, they head to Irving at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory on April 25.
