Erica Butler, MSW, LSW is a licensed social worker and doctoral student with approximately twenty years of experience working within both child welfare systems and behavioral health systems. She serves as a step-down navigator at a Texas-based behavioral health hospital; in this capacity, Erica specializes in creating continuity of care and facilitating outpatient transitions for patients that require high levels of acuity. The focus of her work includes identifying and addressing system wide inequities, enhancing the discharge outcomes and expanding cultural responsiveness to clinical practice.
