No matter what you may hear, it’s not a cult. The Tribe of the new film, M15F1T5 is actually a group of misfit kids (er, young adults) who band together for do-gooding, and they somehow evolved into a social and political movement set to change the world. While being shirtless. And cussing a lot. But they’re damn entertaining, and for one-night-only, you can see ’em on the big screen premiere of the movie M15F1T5. This Monday, the tribe takes over the Texas Theatre (231 W. Jefferson Blvd.) and screens its “documentary.” Expect a story about a high school athlete who makes nice with a wackadoodle cult and throws down with a criminal gang of thugs. The movie screens at 7 p.m. and tickets are $10. Call 214-948-1546 for event information or visit thetribeofmisfits.com to become properly indoctrinated.
