$10,000

When you discover that Texas native Christopher Soden is a writer, teacher, critic and performer, you become acutely aware that it was only a matter of time before he threw all of his mojo together for one grand distinctly Soden event. Drawing from all of his expertise and relying on a little help from his friends, Soden joins forces with Ben Schroth, Matt Tomlanovich and Nouveau 47 Theatre for a limited engagement of Hour of the Wolf, a multimedia poetry extravaganza based on his 2011 published collection r. A standout voice in the DFW LGBT community, Soden presents Hour of the Wolf at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Nouveau 47 Theatre at the Magnolia Lounge at Fair Park, 1121 1st Ave. Admission is pay-what-you-can for both performances, which contain mature content. Call 214-810-3605 or visit nouveau47.com.

Fri., March 22, 8 p.m.; Sat., March 23, 8 p.m., 2013
